Mission of Centennial Committee:

To educate, celebrate and commemorate the 100 years of Torrance.

Criteria for Official Centennial Events:

• Family oriented (G-rated)
• Open to the public
• Shows demonstrated link to the City of Torrance
• Acknowledges local/group history — the hosting organization may interject its own history and/or the history of the event itself
• Has no conflict with other approved Centennial or existing community events
